Round Bone Inlay Box | Blue & White
New to our bone inlay collection is our storage pot in bone inlay with a brass knob. These look so pretty on a dressing table or chest of drawers to keep jewellery and nic nacs in. They are also lovely in a bathroom to hide away cotton wool pads etc.
Each piece is made by hand. Every slither of bone is dyed and then stuck on by hand to the wooden base. The pieces of bone absorb the dye in slightly different ways resulting in beautiful tonal variations. As a result there will be slight irregularities in every pot adding to their individuality and uniqueness.
The bone is buffalo bone and is a by product of the meat industry.
