Oblong Inlay Planter | Large | Wine Red | Striped
Our oblong planters are perfect for a console table, a window sill or a rectangular table. Each planter comes with a tin insert making it easy to make arrangements/water the plants. The outside base is lined with felt to stop any surface being scratched.
The planters are handmade. Each sliver of bone is dyed, then applied by hand to a mango wood base. Because each piece absorbs the dye a little differently, you’ll see beautiful tonal variations, and occasional irregularities make every tray unique.
The bone is buffalo bone, a by-product of the meat industry.
Please note that bone is a natural material and can fade if left in direct sunlight.

Our bone inlay pieces are made by a family run factory in the heart of Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh famous for making products in bone and horn.
