We are delighted to launch our new range of bone inlay mirrors. Designed by Sophie and handmade in India by artisans in a small family run factory.

New In - the Large Oval Chequered tray. A more substantial tray than our original round tray.  Unlike the rectangular trays the oval trays have bone inlay on the top edge.  

The trays are handmade  by a family run business of artisans in India and are  made of mango wood, edged in bone inlay. Each piece of bone inlay is painted and stuck on by hand to the wooden base and there will therefore be variations between each piece and some irregularities.  This is not a fault but part of the authenticity and uniqueness of each tray.

The base of the tray is covered in black felt to avoid any scratches to surfaces.

The bone is buffalo bone and is a byproduct of the meat industry.

A beautiful Bone Inlay Planter, with a brass rim. Each planter comes with a tin insert has a felt base to prevent scratching the surface of a table.

The planters are handmade and every piece of bone inlay is hand painted and then stuck on by hand to the wooden base. Each piece of bone absorbs the dye in a slightly different way resulting in beautiful tonal variations. Therefore there will be slight irregularities in every planter adding to their individuality and uniqueness.
