A beautiful Bone Inlay Planter, with a brass rim.

Each planter comes with a tin insert and has a felt base to prevent scratching the surface of a table.

The planters are handmade and every piece of bone inlay is hand painted and then stuck on by hand to the wooden base. Each piece of bone absorbs the dye in a slightly different way resulting in beautiful tonal variations. Therefore there will be slight irregularities in every planter adding to their individuality and uniqueness.

The bone is buffalo bone and is a by product of the meat industry.

Please note that as this is a natural product and if placed in direct sunlight, the product can be bleached by the sun.

Our original large Bone Inlay Planter with a brass rim in a striped design. 

Each planter comes with a waterproof tin insert making it easy to make arrangements and water the plants. The outside base is lined with felt to stop any surface being scratched.

The planters are handmade and every piece of bone inlay is hand painted and then glued on by hand to the wooden base. Each piece of bone absorbs the dye in a slightly different way resulting in beautiful tonal variations. Having had various requests from customers to make a planter that would fit a medium sized pot plant (supermarket bought large basil plant to be specific!) we decided to go for it and are very excited to launch our scalloped planters.  They come in 10 different shades.

The planters are all hand painted and rimmed in gold with 3 small ball feet at the base.

Our square bone inlay tray.  These are incredibly versatile  be it as a drinks tray, for objets d'art on a coffee table or in a spare bedroom with a carafe of water and some flowers on to give you a few ideas.

The trays are handmade  by artisans in India and are  made of mango wood, edged in bone inlay.  The base of the tray is covered in black felt to avoid any scratches to surfaces.

Please note that due to bone being a natural product if left in direct sunlight for a period of time the colour can fade.
